Logan is 16 years old as of yesterday. I left the camera alone and just enjoyed him all day. But today after church there was a little time to grab some pictures while him and his sister played with the dog and had some target practice. Our neighbor says Abby is a regular Annie Oakley. They had me print off actual competition targets today so they could measure who is the best shot. Our dog just looks at us like, "Shouldn't you do something? Is this safe?"

We've known Mike and Heidi for several years. While we were in Haiti they came to visit, and Heidi would beam over any children. They were just beginning to try for a baby of their own. Just after we got back we had the priviledge of photographing that dream come true during the delivery, and now Miss Madeline is 4 months old. She's intrigued by all things that move and every color is an amazement. It will be fun to watch her grow up with such an awesome Mom & Dad.

I had the opportunity to go to the Bighorns and photograph an elk hunt with my dad and my old friend Sean. It was unseasonably warm for the mountains so the elk didn't migrate through in the time I was there. We just decided to call it a camping trip where we got to scope alot of back country. Dad is still hoping to get up after a good snow fall and track the 7-point we saw the day before open season.
