Crossfit

Here are some of our favorites from the Crossfit Phós gym session.

I never cared about crossfit. Never understood it. Never saw the attractiion...until I photographed a crossfit gym yesterday. Maybe it was having to study people from behind the lens that made me look closer. What I found was community. These people encourage one another, coach one another, and push themselves to the next level, together. Drive and determination are born out of sheer comradery. Goals that seem impossible, like running for miles and pushing up when there's just no gas left in the tank, become past tense, something you did, accomplished. Aim small, miss small, and those small victories add up.
