Amber & Chad

I had a very different experience with Amber & Chad the other day. During the outdoor half of their engagement session Chad asked if we could go to Rotary Park, to the spot where he proposed.
I thought it sounded like a great idea, and even though we'd just been dumped on with all the snow, we set out for Sioux Falls.
It wasn't until we got there that we found that the city had actually closed the park. It was knee-deep snow and the plows hadn't even come through.
But it was still important to them, so Chad and I, (the boys) had to toughen up when Amber (the girl in the group) decided no cold snow was going to spoil her fun.
I have to say I was impressed. :) We 'hiked' in about a quarter mile from the nearest open parking lot.
It was chilly, and we froze a little, but it was well worth it. The wind had licked away the snow from the bridge where Chad first asked her to be his wife, and it was a perfect spot. There we were in the middle of the city, but the snow muffled all the sounds save the two of them, and it was almost like we were in another world. Chad kept her warm, and she snuggled into his arms. Some moments are just worth the trouble...
